چکیده

7 We consider a set of equations modeling contact line dynamics. The model consists of the Navier–Stokes free surface flow with local slip-type boundary conditions and gradient surface ten-9 sion coupled with a mesoscopic local surface model (nonlinear degenerated equations) describes the surface tension variations. The dynamical contact angle and the local surface tension variations are 11 unknowns of the model. We present some mathematical and numerical results.

Effect of contact line dynamics on the thermocapillary motion of a droplet on an inclined plate.

We study the two-dimensional dynamics of a droplet on an inclined, nonisothermal solid substrate. We use lubrication theory to obtain a single evolution equation for the interface, which accounts for gravity, capillarity, and thermo-capillarity, brought about by the dependence of the surface tension on temperature. The contact line motion is modeled using a relation that couples the contact lin...

Intelligent identification of vehicle’s dynamics based on local model network

This paper proposes an intelligent approach for dynamic identification of the vehicles. The proposed approach is based on the data-driven identification and uses a high-performance local model network (LMN) for estimation of the vehicle’s longitudinal velocity, lateral acceleration and yaw rate. The proposed LMN requires no pre-defined standard vehicle model and uses measurement data to identif...

Mathematical Model of Novel COVID-19 and Its Transmission Dynamics

In this paper, we formulated a dynamical model of COVID-19 to describe the transmission dynamics of the disease. The well possedness of the formulated model equations was proved. Both local and global stability of the disease free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium point of the model equation was established using basic reproduction number. The results show that, if the basic reproduction numb...

Simulation of nanodroplet impact on a solid surface

A novel computational fluid dynamics and molecular kinetic theory (CFD-MK) method was developed to simulate the impingement of a nanodroplet onto a solid surface. A numerical solution of the Navier–Stokes equation using a volume-of-fluid (VOF) technique was used to model nanodroplet deformation. Dynamic contact angle during droplet impact was obtained by molecular kinetic theory. This dynamic c...

Flow Patterns in the Vicinity of Triple Line Dynamics Arising from a Local Surface Tension Model

We model and simulate numerically a droplet impact onto a solid substrate. The triple line dynamics modelling is implicit (as opposed to classical explicit mobility relations), it is based on the Shikhmurzaev equations. These equations include generalized Navier slip type boundary conditions with extra local surface tension gradient terms. Numerical results when spreading are presented. A parti...
